Rachel Hall

Personal Experience & Biography

My counseling style is warm, genuine and relaxed. I believe offering a safe place to be open and honest is essential to the exploration of thoughts and feelings. My primary goal as a counselor is to encourage everyone to find a greater sense of well-being, build on who they are and develop their unique path. I believe in treating people with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I enjoy helping people identify their strengths and find ways to maximize them to overcome life’s challenges.

Just as we are all individuals, I believe the approach to counseling should also be the same. I blend person-centered, behavioral and solution focused therapies to meet the diverse needs of each person.

Walk – Talks

Rachel is offering Walk-Talks for clients. Walk-Talk is therapy that can make it easier for clients to relax, stop ruminating, release physical tension, breathe deep and receive mind-body insight while processing experiences in a different way. As the name describes, clients talk with me while walking outdoors rather than sitting or relaxing in a therapy office. Walking side by side rather than sitting face to face enables some clients to feel more comfortable with sharing. Walk-Talk requires an initial intake counseling session conducted in office for new clients or via online therapy. Walk-Talk is an option for all current clients if requested before appointment.
