Sometimes we’re just better at writing down our thoughts, feelings, emotions or experiences. A useful exercise in self-reflection to enhance time spent with your Counselor, journeling can give you time to pause and reflect or write down a thought or question so you won’t forget to bring it up. Journeling can also help a client to take a step back after reading what was written, sometimes unlocking additional layers to an issue or concern.
